Be aware of your thoughts throughout the day. Where your thoughts go, so does your emotions. You feel what you think. If your thoughts start to go down a path that will bring you down, notice this and change your thoughts to something that lifts you up or empowers you. It can be a memory of a time when you felt loved or an event in your life when you overcame a difficult challenge and felt triumphant. Let those positive emotions flow through you. When you are in a positive state of mind, you are more resourceful in dealing with whatever life throws at you.
