An executive meeting allows two people to have time during the week to discuss issues that have come up during that week. As events occur, each person will jot down the issue that they want to bring up. This keeps issues from arising throughout the week and allows you to be alone to discuss things. It also keeps you from reacting in anger. During the meeting each person will have a large space of time to present their point of view, their partner can ask questions to better understand the issue but they can't interrupt until the issue is presented in its entirety. The goal is to listen and understand different points of view, create channels of communication, resolve issues so they do not reoccur, and learn the art of compromise. You want to work from facts, not emotions. Try to always speak from the heart and take notes, especially if you have questions that you want to ask later when your partner has finished talking.
